You’re getting married. You’re thinking steampunk. We’ve been there and we’re here to help!

We got married on April 1, 2012, and planning our wedding was an experience. At first we really struggled. We wanted the wedding to capture what connected us, the things we both loved. Books were at the top of the list, especially those of the fantasy and sci-fi genre. So we decided reading had to be a highlight. We also share a love of times past, especially the Renaissance era. But we didn’t want to lose the sci-fi element! What to do? Go Steampunk! The end result was a super fun wedding with all kinds of geeky sci-fi and steampunk-themed elements.

However, locating resources and vendors was a struggle. We googled ourselves silly, but only found a handful of steampunk weddings to review and research. This website will hopefully serve as a useful resource for other brides and grooms planning their own steampunk soirees! We hope you have as much fun as we did!
